After season one, Tracer Season 2 Episode 2 continues the story. Dong-Joo and Seo Hye-young are dispatched to help the prosecution with a case and take this opportunity to do some investigating of their own.
They quickly learn that Han Kyung-mo is not well-liked in the office and has no connection to PQ Group, making him an unlikely candidate to be the leader. A deeper investigation into Sanjo Bank reveals an even more sinister scheme brewing under the surface: The bank deliberately targets certain companies and denies them loans, forcing them into bankruptcy.
The prosecutors bring Manager Nam in for questioning and accuse him of being the one who killed Han Kyung-mo, just like he did with another junior 17 years ago. Remember when I said Sanjo Bank was nefarious? Their misdeeds have been happening for years, and they were also part of the Myungjoo Electronics case.
Manager Nam tells them what happened the night he met Han Kyung-mo and how he refused the illegal loan from the bank. Dong-Joo then reveals that they already knew about Han Kyung-mo’s fate and found the real culprit, leaving Manager Nam speechless.
