Daeho is a fictional country that is the setting for a story about young mages who are in love and have to overcome their difficult fates. The reason for their challenges is a forbidden magic spell called “alchemy of souls”. This spell allows people to switch bodies with other people’s souls.
This story follows the journey of Naksu, an assassin of high regard, whose soul becomes trapped inside the body of Mu Deok – servant to Jang Uk of the mage family, a powerful and noble bloodline within the country. Jang Uk, the young master of the family, seeks out the formidable assassin in hopes that he will change his scandalous destiny.
